DIETARY ASSISTANT [DA] (PRN – As Needed)

Need DA to work as needed for patient/employee food service, including weekends, to fill in for full-time staff absent for illness, vacation & during holidays. Work day could begin at 7am (or sooner) or 11am depending on shift. Overtime rate paid if work holiday & PRN staff receive an additional $1/hour on top of base rate. Duties include: load/tend dish machine, stock dishware, prepare cafeteria trays, deliver/return food carts, cleaning, complete written documentation, etc.

Must read, write & understand English language & follow all oral/written instructions. Prefer HS diploma or equivalent & prior healthcare dietary experience. Be dependable in unsupervised role once trained & work cooperatively with others. Use computer to complete annual education requirements & check e-mail. Perform light to moderate physical activity including lifting 30lbs or more, etc.

Housekeeper (PRN - Work As Needed & On-Call)

Work variable day & afternoon shifts to fill in for regular Housekeepers. Clean patient rooms & public areas including windows, walls, restrooms, floors & offices throughout hospital. Keep restrooms & cleaning supplies well stocked. Perform moderate to heavy physical activity required to sweep, wet mop, collect & dispose of waste, remove bed linens, etc. & lifting 50 lbs. or more. Maintain housekeeping equipment, document & maintain accurate records & perform related duties as assigned including laundry.

Able to read, write & understand English language. Prefer HS diploma or equivalent with prior housekeeping experience in healthcare setting. Possess basic written & customer service skills, dependable & follow all oral/written directions. Perform basic math computations & complete annual education refresher using computer.

RN’s & LPN’s  (PRN - as needed)

Need PRN RN’s & LPN’s to work “as needed” on Medical/Surgical floor primarily but may also be assigned to Surgery, ER & SCU units depending on qualifications.

PRN nurses are eligible for PRN pay of $4/hr (RN’s) & $2/hr (LPN’s) on top of base pay.
